DAVE THE CADET...

This is my ANA (Army and Navy Academy) photo. ANA happens to be located directly on the beach and as a young cadet, was more interested in the Carlsbad wave patterns than my schooling. I was 13 when that picture was taken.

13 was the year I first smoked a cigarrette, smoked a joint, felt a tit and shredded some of the best waves of my life. Shortly before this pictue I earned my sharpshooter ribbon firing a Springfield 1903 30 cal.

Click on the photo to enlarge it and look into my eyes.

This was one of the best years of my life.

CESSATION OF SMOKING...

I am trying very hard to stop smoking but it is hard to quit smoking. Every one of them looks pretty good to me right now. Every cigarette looks like it was made by God, rolled by Jesus and moistened shut with Claudia Schiffer's pussy right now.

EDIT:You would not believe the hate email I have recieved because of the post above. Get a fucking life people....it's a damn attempt at humor. People come up to me and say, 'What's wrong?' Nothing. 'Well, it takes more energy to frown than it does to smile.' Yeah, you know it takes more energy to point that out than it does to leave me alone?"

GUN OF THE WEEK...

THE WINCHESTER MODEL 1873

The reason I chose this gun is for the fact that Winchester will soon, no longer exist. Also know as the Model 73 and more popularly known as "The Gun That Won The West".

Winchester, or to be exact, U.S. Repeating Arms Co. is owned by a Belgium company and will no longer produce lever action rifles. John Wayne is doing flips in his grave.

After hearing the news, I searched for a '73 for sale and found one at $10,000. This is one firearm I wish I owned. Not for the price, but for it's heritage.

WELL DAMN...

I only spent 2 weeks in the number 2 spot on Google. I am back on top again baby!

POLITICALLY DEAD...

Caspar W. Weinberger @ 88 years old.

Lyn Nofziger @ 81 years old.

A great quote from Lyn:

``Back there when Reagan first became governor, I had to rid him of four basic misconceptions,That right will always triumph in the end; that there is such a thing as a presidential draft; that the cavalry will arrive at the last minute and save the day; and that God cares who is president of the United States.''

EDIT: Most of you probably don't know the connection between these two, but I had the honor of meeting both Mr. Nofziger and Pres. Reagan. I grew up in Santa Barbara, Ca. not very far from the White House West ranch.

PATSY OF THE WEEK

"A US Army dog handler has been sentenced to six months in prison for his role in torturing detainees at the Abu Ghraib Prison. Sergeant Michael J. Smith was also reduced to the rank of Private. He will forfeit a month of his pay and receive a bad conduct discharge when he is released from prison. A jury convicted Smith of conspiring with another dog handler to try and frighten detainees using his dog".

Give me a fucking break. Mary, Joseph and Jesus! What the fuck is this guys duties? Use his canine to fucking scare the shit out of detainees. I am searching the headlines for his partner. I believe he got 8 years for letting his canine "bark" at detainees. Give me a BAR .50 cal and I'll show you how to scare these poor ragheads.

Goes back to my power and the will to use it comment. Damn dog should have pissed on the damn Muzzie. General Patton would have given this soldier and his dog a medal.

GUN OF THE WEEK...

The .454 Taurus Raging Bull. This monster has finally been upstaged. That gun... next week. Still, this is one hefty hand cannon.

BABE OF THE WEEK..

This week's gal HAS to go to Debra LaFave. I had the hots for a teacher or two as a 14 year old. Enough said!

Shit..

What a week! Guess I better get some posts up here. It's been wide open here this week. Keeping a blog up is not as easy as it looks. I have to fix this one as I made a major change without the time to make it right. I got some 300+ hits last week, so somebogy is reading this shit.

SOMETHING POSITIVE FOR A CHANGE

"Dave's creation of the Tag Exchange was one of the best sources of information, that I have ever seen, as well as one of the best concepts that have ever been availible".

Found this on a Recovery Forum and I won't mention the author other than to say thanks Dana.

I hope that Repospotter proves to be even more of a sucess.

I am a nut and most people know that. Have you ever thought what it would be like to be an assassin? If so, click here.

The Colt 1911 A-1. Same gun that I am holding in the pic on the right.

THE SONG OF THE WEEK...

May I present:

"RUSH 2112 Overture"

Headphones please for maximum quality.

It's the best trio ever to take the stage...RUSH. Neil Peart is the best drummer to ever hit the music scene and bass player Geddy Lee, when I saw them in concert, played bass with his left hand, hammering the notes, played the organ with his right hand and sang...doing all 3 at once!

HAPPY ST. PATRICKS DAY...

My family coat of arms. My father explains the Color of the figures skin this way:

"This is the Conway coat of arms. One of you may be particularly taken by the somewhat "dark" fellow on the center. Well. . . . .this is probably an influence of what had become known as the "Black Irish." The origins, and genetic history, of the term are shrouded in the mists of an uncertain history. Some say the term "Black Irish" came to refer to the genetic influence as the result of the wreck of a large Spanish Armada off the coat of Ireland in 1588 and others say it refers to Phoenician genes floating around the British Isles from way back when. In any event, it kinda looks like we are descended from the "black Irish" whatever that means".

No green beer here. Just eyes!

THEY REALLY DO LOVE ME...

"I would suggest that you drop youre tough guy, know it all image, put away your pistol, get a hair cut and take a bath, put on a shirt and tie and take a new picture for your website , from the looks of it youre either in deliveranceville or on top of broke back mountain".

The above quote was culled from a repossession forum and penned by a Mr. Dave Rose of Dayton, Ohio and was in reference to the picture of me here on my blog. I guess that he doesn't like my pic? I esplained to Senor Rose that the picture was taken on a fishing expedition, but now I am wondering why he cares? Does he enjoy looking at pictures of men? And the Gay references? Interesting from a phycological point of view.

Hey Asshat... fishing season is upon us here in the South. I'll be sure to wear a coat and tie on my next trip, put that picture on here and you can beat off to that one. Would that make ya happy you fucking fuck?

EDIT: He responded with this on the same forum. I see a trend in his posting. I now know why he is Donald Duckovan's new lap dog... they're both homo's.

POSTING...

I have not posted for the last few days because I was working a bail skip that proved to be somewhat difficult and time consuming. This was a new client and I went the extra mile and put in the time. It's 3:00 pm and I have 3/4's of a pot of coffee left so maybe I'll post a few things today while I finish it off.

After that, I am going to buy a bag of burgers and fries, rent a DVD and kick back with the family for the rest of the day. Shit, I have been up to 4 and 5 every morning for the last three days with a few hours sleep.

Best three words I have heard today? "He's in custody".

POWER AND WILL

It's been awhile since I saw this video, but it got sent in an email this morning. It reminded me of a conversation I heard that The United States has the power to defeat the insurgents in Iraq quickly, but doesn't have the will to use the power. The Iraqi's have the will, but very little power. Will without power will always win over power with no will.

This video is POWER and WILL in action!

Sound up.

DAMNIT...

I have dropped to the #2 spot on a google search for "Dave Branch" after holding #1 for a year.

LOCAL TERRORIST ATTACK...

We had a terrorist attack about 45 miles from me over the weekend. Mohammed Reza Taheri-azar drove his SUV into a crowd off students to "avenge the deaths or murders of Muslims around the world."

I had a conversation with someone who said this was a hate crime. I told him that he was an idiot and that this was a terrorist attack on our homeland. No, he probably was not part of a cell or organized group, but his motive was to kill Americans.

I just now heard that he smiled and waved in his first court appearance and said to the court that "He was proud to serve Allah."

Goes back to my earlier post: Convert, Subjegate or Kill.

Fucking Rag Head.

EDIT: How long is it going to be when an armed American citizen shoots a muzzie in his turbaned melon because he feared for his life and claims self defence?

FOUNDING FATHERS ARE ROLLING..

Surely by now you’re aware that Americans know more about the Simpson rather than the First Amendment:

Another finding from the poll, a telephone survey of 1,000 random adults with an error margin of 3%, was that 22% of Americans could name all five Simpson characters.

By comparison, just one in 1,000 people could name all five First Amendment freedoms.

About one in five thought the right to own a pet was one of the freedoms.

TO MY AUTO BUDDIES..

It looks like I will be having quite a few cars to remarket very soon. Most are mid 90's imports and a bunch of Jeeps. Shoot me an email and I'll send emails and pics out as they come in. Those of you that remember John English, this will be the final liquidation of his cars. Any of you guys in Greensboro/High Point that want to pick up a few, email me as well. If the deal goes thru, I want to settle a majority of the accounts by May 1.

Comments...

I has someone comment on the gun of the week being a model 870 instead of the 1100 as the 1100 is an auto loader. He is correct, but the model shown below is a model 1100 Tactical, which is a pump action. I noticed he was from Fayetteville, NC, home of Fort Bragg and it got me to thinking about the 870. Does anyone know if it is being used in the Gulf? Is the 870 still issued and used by the military? I know that in Vietnam, there was at least one 870 per squad. It is one tough and rugged shotgun and would'nt mind having one.

GUN SAFETY CLASS...?

In this Video we see Officer Tough Guy giving a class on gun safety to some elemetary students. Sort of.

NEW! GUN OF THE WEEK...

Remington model 1100 tactical 12 ga. I have the same shoulder/pistol stock on a model 1200 tactical riot 8 round.

LIKE GEOGRAPHY?

I am a Geography nut. Think you are good? I found this quiz site over at the Ultimate Insult that I played for over an hour. Play against yourself ot others. Part of my son's home school lessons.

BABE OF THE WEEK...

HEY...NICE TO MEET YA....

The Koran reads that when a muslim meets an infidel, he has three options:

1. Convert them

2. Subjugate them

3. Kill them
